Norway’s cult extreme metal festival, taking place in the heart of Bergen from August 2 – 5 in 2023, Beyond The Gates festival is now revealing the full line-up for its eleventh edition.

The festival features performances from Norwegian black metal legends such as Gorgoroth, Dimmu Borgir, and avant garde act Enslaved diving back into their history while performing Eld. American death metal titan Deicide will perform Legion and acts like Alcest, Pertubator and Primordial performing to the Nameless Dead have also confirmed for the festival. Coming to Norway isn’t just about the festival, it’s also about visiting cultural (black metal) landmarks, tasting local delicacies and wondering around in the landscapes that have inspired so many artists before.
